Uneven pigmentation & Skin LighteningKojic Acid
This is
an excellent skin lightening agent derived from various fungal species. It is a tyrosinase inhibitor thus
stops the production of melanin. Kojic acid can be used in concentrations
of up to five per cent twice daily as a safe skin lightener. A more
effective alternative is Kojic Dipalmitate which is a key ingredient in
Porselene Skin Lightening and Firming Body Lotion.
Tretinoin, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, and Vitamin C
These are less
effective than Kojic acid and can take longer before an improvement
can be seen. However they improve the skin cell production, collagen
production and elasticity. These 3 products are used in Porselene Night Cream to boost skin repair while promoting even skin tone. Alpha hydroxy acids are also used in the skin lightening body lotion and the day gel.

Azelaic Acid
This is
particularly good for treating acne but has not shown a good result in
skin lightening. However, in a patented combination with the protein glycine, a highly effective, stable and safe Azeloglicina
emerged as a a very effective skin lightener, moisturizer and anti-acne
active. This active is the primary ingredient in all Porselene skin
lightening products. This has resulted in a highly effective skin
lightening collection of products that evens out pigmentation while
clearing unsightly blemishes.
Arbutin
This is derived from the leaves of bearberry, cranberry, mulberry or
blueberry shrubs, and also is present in most types of pears. It can
have melanin-inhibiting properties. This ingredient is found in all
Porselene skin lightening products.
